Hiya! I'm Des!
I love helping people find their peace and joy!
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been in the mental health field for over 12 years. I am also a daughter of God. I have always felt the call to counsel people into the will of God for their lives.
After working as a consultant writing care plans for members of a CMO health plan, I saw the need for better mental health care. I want to hear your story. I want us to talk about things you're not supposed to talk about as a Christian. I know you have faith and many of us suffer in silence waiting on the "mystery" of our faith to "work" like a pill.
The truth is, it's not that simple. A 2-hour sermon cannot correct the other 166 hours of thought patterns. I've been there but there is more in this life with Christ!
At age 19, I had what I thought was the worst acne breakout ever, LOL! Little did I know that was just the beginning. It took me many years later to realize it was my body's way of telling me I was not handling my diet or stress well. My own motivation for working out is achieving optimum health, both mentally and physically.
I am always up to something follow me on IG and say hello!

*An Australian study, published in the American Journal of Psychiatry, shows that 1 hour of exercise just once per week may help prevent depression (source: special edition TIME Magazine's Mental Health published Sept 2020).
